The Brand

It was 1967 when Lyndon Laney, a member of the band “The Band of Joy” along with John Bonham and Robert Plant, decided to devote himself to the construction of amplifiers.

Working in his father’s garage, Lyndon began to produce amplifiers with tonal characteristics never heard at that time: that’s how Laney Amplifcation was born.

These powerful amplifiers were soon chosen by another promising guitarist of the English scene, a certain Tony Iommi.

The LA100BL head unit was exactly what he was looking for in his new band.
